Bentara News, - Managers and members of the Village Forest Management Institute (LPHD) and Koperasi Kna Mandiri, must have a sense of belonging to the organization, so that the vision and mission aspired together can be achieved. This is the conclusion and hope with the second day of training participants to strengthen the capacity of LPHD in Sira and Manggroholo villages on Wednesday (11/21/2018).
The second day of this capacity building activity was more about opening the understanding of LPHD management, cooperatives and community members who own HD (Village Forest). So that the activities in LPHD are there and a sense of belonging and work in accordance with the vision and mission that refers to the RPHD (Village Forest Management Plan).
After outlining all the potential in HD, participants were invited to create a vision and mission as well as RPHD for 10 years (2017 - 2027)
The speaker or facilitator also helps direct participants to the functions and structure of the LPHD. Which includes KUPS (Social Forestry Business Group) and Cooperatives. It is expected that the division of labor from the structure that has been made together will make the work more focused in accordance with their respective fields of work.
"Essentially we understand what the structure and work of the LPHD is like and compile an RPHD for 10 years and determine what will be done later in the RKT 2019 later," said Alfred Kladit, Chair of the Sira LPHD.
The Chairperson of the LPD Manggroholo also gave his appreciation for the activities on this second day. "Today's material knows more about what we will work in the village forest, both 10 years and 1 year and there is also good cooperation between the LPHD management and all members of the Sira and Manggroho communities," said Markus Kladit.
The LPHD treasurer, Dian Wagarefe, argues that the second day's material is more dense, because of the explanation of the vision and mission as well as the 10-year work plan and RKT 2019. "In addition we can add new programs and can gradually improve existing programs he said.
Simon Wagarefe, one of the youth leaders of Kampung Sira, thanked Bentara and Greenpeace for helping to facilitate this activity. He hopes that the output can be continued by LPHD administrators and youth here, to be able to work together towards the vision and mission and RPHD for the next 10 years. (Dhefan)
