YOUNG FARMER VOLUNTEER
Bentara Papua opens opportunities for young people who want to become volunteers (volunteers) to carry out community organizing and research work in several villages in West Papua.

Program Flow

Interview with prospective volunteers on 26 June 2019

Registration requirement
Have knowledge and experience about:
Organic agriculture
Handling disease in plants organically
Agroforestry
Environmental based research
Willing to stay at the location of the activity for at least 6 months
Send CV and narrative of the reasons for participation of at least 500 words to email recruitment.bentara@gmail.com with the subject "List of Young Farmers' Volunteers".
17-30 years old

The cost of transportation, accommodation, consumption and pocket money while at the location of the activity will be borne by the Papuan Army.

Heading to the field: 8 July - 20 December 2019

VILLAGE VOLUNTEERS
Bentara Papua opens opportunities for young people who want to become volunteers (volunteers) to share knowledge and fight for sustainable natural resource management in the Land of Papua through organic agriculture.

Activity Objectives
1. Organizing alternative education models for youth / i.
2. Regeneration of people's organizers.
3. Inviting youth to work in the village
4. Introducing the work of community organizing and research for youth.
5. Maintain the sustainability of the people's organizing work.

The benefits that will be obtained as a volunteer are gaining knowledge and skills:
1. Knowledge of village mapping using the GIS (Geographic Information System) method.
2. The practice of developing the Village Information System.
3. Organic farming practices

Want to learn and never give up
No formal education is required
Can & want to learn to hoe
Preferably residing in Manokwari
Write a narrative about the reasons for participating in this activity at least 150 words (can be typed or handwritten)
